13 November 2023. A lecture on “First of all planes”.

On 13 November 2023, a research assistant of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Krivosheyeva S.V. held an informative lecture on “First of all planes” for the students of the 3rd grade of Bolgar sanatorium boarding school. Seven people attended the event.
Pilots, as well as flying equipment, are divided into military and civilian, and their occupation corresponds to this distinction. A pilot is one of the heroic professions, and it does not matter what means of transport he uses to perform his feats – helicopter or aeroplane. Perhaps in our time the images of heroes have changed, but it will never be superfluous to go back to the past and look at the faces of real heroes.
After listening to the lecture, the children learnt about the feats performed by the pilots of the Great Patriotic War and became acquainted with the era in which the heroes lived, dedicating their lives to their nation.
