November 24, 2022. Classes in the creative studio “Territory of possibilities”.

On November 24, 2022, employees of Bolgar Museum-Reserve held two regular classes in the creative studio “Territory of possibilities” for the students of the 7th grades of Bolgar boarding school for children with disabilities. The lessons are held within the project “Bolgar for everyone” funded by the “Tatneft” charity fund.
In the creative studio, children learn the traditions of peoples of their country, different directions of arts and crafts, but most importantly, they learn friendly communication and mutual assistance.
On this day on the site of pottery, children continued modeling pots of clay on a potter’s wheel. The master prompted and helped them in their work so that they could do it right.
In the weaving workshop, schoolchildren created with their own hands patchwork dolls from pieces of fabric. During the lesson, the skilled worker told why people made them in ancient times, and showed how to make it correctly to get a beautiful patchwork doll. Children tried to do it themselves and helped each other. Six schoolchildren took part in the event.
