September 28, 2022. An event on “Tourism is a world open to everyone”.

On 28 September 2022, a staff member of the museum-educational department of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Sabirzyanova L. I. held for the guests of the museum an event on “Tourism is a world open to everyone” devoted to World Tourism Day.
During the event, the visitors learned about the history of the holiday established in 1979 in The Hague during the assembly of the UNWTO. The date was not chosen by chance – nine years earlier, on 27 September 1970, the World Tourism Organization adopted a constitution that still guides it today.
Russia also celebrates World Tourism Day. In 2022, this tradition will be 39 years old. The motto of the holiday is chosen every year. World Tourism Day even has its own official color – blue.
Tourists visited the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization and saw the preserved architectural monuments of XIII-XIV centuries.
