On 27 September 2021, a staff member of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Ahundov N. O. held for tourists an event on “Travel to Bolgar” devoted to World Tourism Day.
“Travel to Bolgar” is an excursion program during which the guests of ancient town became acquainted with its history, remaining buildings, museums, mosques and nature. Walking along the streets full of life hundreds of years ago, tourists guessed what the structure still stood in front of them. Then they met with a medieval traveler Ahmed Ibn Fahdlan who visited Bolgar with an important mission.
Tourists were satisfied with the program conducted and took a picture with the traveler.
