On 7 May 2021, a methodist of the museum and educational department of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Sagirova L. Sh. held an event on “A man will never betray his country” for tourists from Kazan. The activity devoted to Victory Day celebration took place in the museum of Abdulla Alish – children’s author, our compatriot and anti-fascist.
The guests of the museum became acquainted with life and work of the writer, knew about his ancestry and his great interest in knowledge.
The participants learned a lot of interesting things about heroic life and fight of Alish in fascist prison. In autumn 1941 near Bryansk, injured Alish was captured. He went through many prisons, hunger and pain. He was subjected to bullying by SS officers.
In the beginning of 1943, at Vustrau camp near Berlin Alish met Musa Jalil. From this meeting, a period of organizational secret struggle against gitlermen began in life of Alish.
Fascists executed Alish when his talent just started to open really and did not yet sound fully. Many things Alish planned to do went with him into oblivion. But bloody executioners could not kill his lovely fairy tales, his kind and humane books. They are with us, they live and will live long bringing joy to thousands of readers.
