On 2 April 2021, staff members of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Galimullina N. R., Salimova G.I. and Gaifutdinova O.A. held a museum lesson on “It is not writing that decorates a fairytale, but its meaning” for the students of the 8th grade of Bolgar sanatorium-type residential school. The activity took place in the museum of Abdulla Alish.
Fairytales of Alish entered a treasure trove of Tatar literature. Both kids and adults love his works.
During the event, schoolchildren heard about the life, creativity and feat of a famous Tatar children’s author Abdulla Alish. Using the exposition of the museum kids remembered the writer’s works, translated the names of his stories from Tatar into Russian, answered the questions of a quiz and draw conclusions about the meanings of the fairytales.
Children drew attention to a detailed description of bees’ life in some stories of the author. It is no accident, because as a child observant and curious Abdulla often helped his parents around the house and was fond of beekeeping. In his story “Bee and Wasp” Alish very accurately describes the construction features of a bee cell.
At the end of the event, during a master class, children made an organizer for writing implements in the shape of a hexagonal bee cell.
