On 12 April 2021, in the exhibition area of the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization will open a photo exhibition “Stars are born on earth” devoted to the 60th anniversary of the first human trip into space.
Russia is the homeland of astronautics. The first ideas of space exploration were born in it, the first critical steps in the conquest of outer space were taken, and worthy sons of the fatherland were born – people whose names glorified our country around the world.
The day of 12 April became a great popular holiday in honor of pilots-cosmonauts, designers, engineers, employees and workers who create rockets, spaceships and artificial Earth’s satellites.
At the photo exhibition, visitors can see photos telling about life of Yuri Gagarin, his way towards the stars and people he was just thrown together with. In addition, the exposition includes images telling about the history of the conquest of space, photos of pilots-cosmonauts during their training and spellbinding photos of space.
The exhibition will last until 30 April 2021.
