On 15-16 September 2020, staff members of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Prokofieva G. R. and Tsaryova A. A. in Kazan received advanced training program courses of state civil servants of Tatarstan and municipal employees in the Republic of Tatarstan on “Development of tourist industry and hospitality”. The State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on tourism together with Kazan (Volga) Federal University developed this program. During the training, the participants discussed important topics for tourism industry: tourism development prospects in Tatarstan; formation and promotion of tourism products; branding of the territory; tourism business in situations of pandemics and after it. An expert specializing in territorial development of the city of Uglich Voronova Y. A., a director of Kazan information-tourist centre Abramovich N. V. and Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on tourism Barabanova E. A. performed in front of the audience.
At the end of the program, all participants passed the final certification and received certificates of advanced training.
