3 September 2020. All-Russia action “A drop of life”.

On 3 September 2020, Bolgar Museum-reserve together with Spassky College of sectoral technology held an all-Russia action “A drop of life” dedicated to the Day of solidarity in the fight against terrorism. Tourists from the ship “Alexander Suvorov”, staff members of the museum-reserve and students of Spassky College of sectoral technology took part in this action.
The Day of solidarity in fight against terrorism is timed to the tragic events, which took place on the first days of September 2004 in Beslan. Then, during a terrorist attack, several hundred people died most of whom were children.
Any terrorist act or a war is pain, tears, bitterness. It is a terrible shock to any reasonable person. Innocent people suffer and children die. On the first days of September, in school №1 of Beslan terrorists captured and held 1128 hostages. 330 people died. 186 children were among them. The smallest of the dead was 6 months old.
On the territory of Bolgar Museum-reserve, a memorial service took place. It was devoted to the tragedy of terrorist madness in the city of Beslan.
In memory of Beslan’s victims who was in prison during three days and could not drink a drop of water, through the action “A drop of life” we symbolically gave to drink to all those who are no longer with us. Every participant of the event with a little water in his palms, to the memory of all innocent victims, watered flowers that grow on the territory of the museum-reserve.
