On 19 and 20 February 2020, staff members of Bolgar Museum-Reserve participating in excursion activity received refresher training on the Supplementary Vocational Education Program “Technology of guided tour services”.
Deputy Head of Competence Development Center «Universum+» of Institute of International Relations “Kazan Federal University” on additional professional education program Nagovitsyna Yana Nikolayevna, the Chief of methodological department of “Kazan Kremlin” museum-reserve Muratova Daria Vladimirovna and a tour guide, a Methodist and a member of Guides Guild of RT Semyonova Anastasia Alexandrovna held lectures on such topics as: “Excursion: nature, main characteristics and functions. Classification of excursions”, “Methodological practices of conducting guided tours: showing and telling”, “Methods of preparing excursions”, “Mastery of conducting guided tours”, “Differentiated approach to a guided tour service”, “The technological map of an excursion”. They also held a practical training in the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization.
In the process of the development of education program, staff members of the museum-reserve ensured the current knowledge within refresher training courses and improved their professional skills.
The training was held in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, in an accessible and fascinating manner. At the closing of the lecture, the audience noted the high level of teaching of the subject and stressed the importance of acquired knowledge. At the end of the course, the staff members received Certificates of Skills Development in an amount of 36 hours.
