On 19 February 2020, a lecture on “Jewelry making in Volga Bulgaria” took place.

On 19 February 2020, a staff member of the Department of Guided Tours Organization of Bolgar Museum-Reserve Rogachyova M. N. held a lecture on “Jewelry making in Volga Bulgaria” for the students of the 3rd grade of Bolgar Children’s Art School. The purpose of the lesson was to develop the children’s understanding, respect and love to the cultural heritage of their homeland and to enhance the kids’ knowledge about jewelry in Volga Bulgaria.
The lecture was held in the form of talk with the screening of a presentation on the subject. The students became acquainted with the history of emergence of jewelry and with different ways of work of masters-jewelers. The kids saw also the unique jewelry made by Bolgar jewelers and a wide variety of working tools, knew about how to use them. At the end of the activity, the children actively and with a great interest did crossword puzzles on the theme.
