The event was held in the Museum “Bulgarian tea party”, where the children had a tour of the Museum.
The Bulgarian Museum-reserve, as a custodian of historical and cultural heritage, carefully preserves and protects not only the material values of our history and culture, but also spiritual. The history of our ancestors shows how valuable and important charity is for the preservation of our own national, cultural and spiritual identity.
Visiting the Museum “Bulgarian tea party” students learned about the healing properties of tea, about what herbs were used for brewing this useful drink, about samovars and much more. The culmination of the program was a master class in the preparation of one of the oldest dishes of Tatar cuisine “Bal-may”. The children saw how this dish was prepared a thousand years ago by Volga Bulgarians, ancestors of modern Volga Tatars, learned its useful properties, traditions of serving and enjoyed it with fragrant Bulgarian tea. In memory of the visit to the Museum-reserve the children were given Souvenirs. The Bulgarian Museum-reserve is not limited to one-time actions, charity is one of the main social directions in its versatile activity.
