On November 15, 2019, the Bulgarian Museum-reserve was visited by the staff of the state historical and memorial Museum-reserve “Motherland of V. I. Lenin”. Colleagues were met in national traditions with chak-chak and bread-salt. Then there was a gastronomic master class “Bal-may”, which told the story of the origin of this delicious, sweet and healthy dish, its recipe and tradition of serving. Guests tasted a treat with Bulgarian tea. Then we got acquainted with the exposition Of the Museum of Bulgarian civilization, a Memorial sign in honor of the adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgarians in 922, the Museum of the history of the assumption Church, The Museum “house of the physician”, visited the Museum street. Later, a seminar on the theme “From the experience of the Bulgarian Museum-reserve” was held, where answers to numerous questions were received and the wish for further fruitful cooperation and strengthening of friendly relations between the two museums-reserves was expressed. At the end of the excursion program, guests visited the White mosque and the historical and ethnographic complex “Museum of Bread”.
