On November 11, 2019, N. O. Akhundov, an employee of the Department of organization of excursions of the Bulgarian Museum-reserve, held a Museum lesson “Nobles of the Spassky district” in the Museum of nobility for guests from Ulyanovsk.
The creation of the Museum of the nobility of the Spassky district in the Bulgarian historical and archaeological complex reveals one of the aspects of the life of this territory associated with a special social category. The Russian nobility has a complex history of formation on the basis of the multiethnic serving population of the Russian state. Since the middle ages in the process of its addition also included Bulgarian and Turkic-Tatar peoples. Most Russian families of the late XIV and XV centuries were of Turkic origin and had natives of the Golden Horde. A significant part of the Russian nobility has Bulgarian origins.
Spassky uyezd of Kazan province is known for a large number of noble owning family, rooted in this territory. The main direction of development of economy was agriculture. In this regard, some attention in the exhibition is paid to statistical materials that allow to reveal the economic activities of the owners of villages. The nobility of Spassky uyezd numbered about 30 surnames. Among the nobles of the Kazan province, the names of outstanding personalities with a high cultural level, who entered Russian history, stand out. Bright their representatives lived in Spassky district. They have made a huge contribution to the preservation of cultural heritage. They were Molotov, Bulygin, Likhachev, Musin-Pushkin, which tourists learned at this Museum lesson.
In the Museum, guests saw and heard a lot of new and interesting things. They listened to information about the nobles and their way of life, asked questions, and took photos for memory.
