30 Aug 2019 an employee of the organization Department of the city of BGIAMZ Galimullina Neleus Raisouni in the Museum of Bolgar civilization for tourists, the Museum-reserve held an interactive program “the guest of Tatarstan” dedicated to the birthday of the Republic and the Day of the city, aimed at cognition of the surrounding world, the understanding and preservation of historical, cultural memory. During this event, guests from Moscow learned the history of the holiday, as well as got acquainted with the Tatar culture, folk culinary customs and traditions of hospitality.
Day of formation of the Republic of Tatarstan – “birthday” of the Republic-residents celebrate August 30, which is timed to the adoption of the Declaration on its state sovereignty. The Supreme Council of Tatarstan approved this document on the penultimate summer day of 1990, and a year later the date became a holiday. Citizens actively celebrate the day of formation of the native Republic. Everywhere, in cities, villages, and especially in the capital – Kazan are mass events. Honors and loves this holiday not only the indigenous population, but also residents of other nationalities, as well as numerous guests. Guests are treated to masterpieces of national Tatar cuisine.
The event at the Museum ended with a tea party in a cozy and family atmosphere. Guests tasted and appreciated the dessert dishes of Tatar and Russian national cuisine, and left good wishes to all employees of the Museum-reserve.
