On August 16, 2019 the staff of the Department of excursions organization Salimova G. I., Gayfutdinova O. A. for tourists from Kazan held an information event “Findings of the archaeologist”, dedicated to the Day of the archaeologist.
Archaeology gives us a glimpse into the very distant past. We can now see in the museums of various household items that have survived from ancient times and have been discovered and excavated by archaeologists.
The hard work of archaeologists, of course, deserves great respect and their own holiday. It is the findings of archaeologists that help historians to establish or confirm various events in history.
Tourists during the event got acquainted with the peculiarities of the profession of archaeologist, and listened with interest to the story of the archaeologist about his work with the display of finds.
