30 June 2019 in the Central part of the Bolgar settlement, a festival of Amateur national creativity “the Bulgarians konaklari” (“Bulgarians invites”), dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Museum-reserve. The festival was held in conjunction with the national center for the development of traditional culture. The Bulgarian state historical and architectural Museum-reserve was established on July 1, 1969 by the Decision of the Council Of Ministers of Tatarstan. The main objectives of the Museum-reserve preservation, study and promotion of cultural heritage – the Great Bolgar. Since 1962, our monuments have become objects of Federal importance, in 2014 the Bulgarian historical and archaeological complex is included in the List of UNESCO world heritage sites. From 2010 to 2018 a Complex project “Cultural heritage – island-town of Sviyazhsk and Ancient Bolgar”was implemented in the Republic of Tatarstan. As part of the project, a Museum and tourist infrastructure was created, large-scale archaeological research and restoration work was carried out. There are new museums, where several thousand Museum items from the funds of the Museum-reserve are exhibited.
At 11 o’clock the Grand opening of the festival in honor of this significant date took place. The Head of the Spassky municipal district of RT Nugaev K. A. and the Deputy Director for science of BGIAMZ Faskhutdinov A. N. addressed the guests and participants of the festival with a welcoming speech.
On stage was the popular entertainers: Alsou and Azat Fazlyev, leysan and Ilnar Alalawi

“Vaisnava” Laishevsky municipal district of Tatarstan
“Nokrat money” Mamadyshsky municipal district of Tatarstan
“AK kalfak” Novosheshminsky municipal district of RT
“Villagers” Pestrechinsky municipal district of RT
“Watercolor” Sabinsky municipal district of RT
“Volga dawns”, “Lubo” Spassky municipal district of RT
“Cards” Yutazinsky district of Tatarstan
Umyrzaya cheremshanskiy municipal district of Tatarstan
The festival was attended by about 300 artists from different regions of the Republic of Tatarstan. The performance of the groups decorated the festive concert program.
During the day, interactive platforms and the “City of masters”worked.
The Bulgarian Museum-reserve expresses its gratitude to all the teams that took part in the festival of Bulgarians kunaklara” (“Bolgar invites”) and hopes for further fruitful cooperation.
