N. Gaunavou the event “To remember”, devoted to Day of memory and grief. The purpose of this event is to foster a sense of gratitude to those who died during the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945 and the survivors of the veterans, education of patriotism and citizenship, the development of interest in the historical past of our country.
June 22, 2019 our country celebrates the Day of memory and sorrow – a memorable date dedicated to the tragic day of the great Patriotic war (June 22, 1941). On this day at 4 o’clock in the morning the troops of Nazi Germany and its allies treacherously attacked the Soviet Union, the most destructive, cruel and bloody of all the wars that have ever passed on our planet began-the Great Patriotic war of 1941-1945. the War began suddenly, the hopes of millions of families were destroyed overnight, the destinies of entire generations were broken.
On the Central square of the city of Bolgar, schoolchildren laid flowers at the monuments to fellow soldiers who died during the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945 and during the Afghan and Chechen wars. The event continued at the Museum of Abdullah Alish, where students got acquainted with the life and work of the Tatar children’s writer, a participant of the great Patriotic war, who was captured and executed in Pletzensee prison, for underground activities in the dungeons of the concentration camp, which he led against the Nazis with Musa Jalil.
In the presentation presented at the event, the children were told about vivid examples of heroism of our army, courage and bravery of the people during the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945.
