On may 18, 2019 on the territory of the Bulgarian Museum-reserve for children of the senior group of MBDOU Kindergarten of the combined type “Rodnichok” of the Spassky municipal district of RT by the employee of Department of the organization of excursions BGIAMZ Rogacheva M. N. an interactive excursion program “the Magic world of the Museum”, dedicated to the International day of museums. The purpose of this event is to introduce children to the history of their native land, the development of their love, respect and respect for the cultural heritage of their homeland.
Every year on may 18 the world celebrates one of the most important and favorite holidays – international Museum day. It is in the Museum collections that the most famous works of art, things of great cultural value, evidence of the era are stored. On may 18, everyone will be able to visit many domestic and foreign museums for free. International Museum day is celebrated worldwide since 1977, when the 11th General conference of ICOM (International Council of Museums — international Council of museums), was held in Moscow and Leningrad. In 1977, the Museum community wanted to create a special event, which was the international day of museums. The resolution was adopted in 1977 during the General Assembly of the international Council of museums (ICOM) in Moscow. In 2007, exactly 30 years later, 70 countries took part in the international day of museums. The theme of that year was “we Are all responsible for the world heritage” (“Todos somos responses del patrimonio mundial”). But in 2015, the event was attended by more than 35 thousand museums from 145 countries.
On this day, walking along the paths of ancient Bolgar, the children visited the Museum of Bulgarian civilization, where they got acquainted with the history of the city and its unique architectural monuments and, of course, with numerous archaeological finds presented in the Museum. Listened to ancient legends, legends associated with them. During the tour, the children visited the craftsmen, who introduced them to pottery, weaving, weaving, artistic painting of Souvenirs. Children listened with great interest to the master’s story about the production. On this day, they themselves, performing with great enthusiasm for the proposed task was the ancient craftsmen, the “archaeologists”. Having made a “Journey into the past”, the guys discovered a lot of new things and got a lot of vivid impressions. At the end of the event, all were awarded with small Souvenirs.
