May 1, 2019 in the Bulgarian Museum-reserve on the pier of the river station was held a solemn, theatrical meeting of the ship “Alexei Tolstoy”, which was the first ship to open the season of cruise navigation 2019. For 150 tourists who arrived on the ship, an excursion program was organized with a visit to the Museum of Bulgarian civilization, the Museum “House of the healer”, the Bulgarian settlement, the complex “White mosque” and the first Temple of the Martyr Abraham Bulgarian.
On this day, the Museum-reserve hosted a gastronomic festival “Chuck-tea”, dedicated to the official opening of the tourist season 2019. The sweetest festival is a gastronomic festival that combines two culinary traditions of the region — honey meal chak-chak and special herbal Bulgarian tea.
The festival was attended by masters of folk arts and crafts from many regions of Russia. A culinary competition for the best Chuck-Chuck was attended by 4 teams – 2 from Kazan, one of the Bulgarians and one of Laishevo. Everyone could taste this sweet national dish of Tatarstan, which is a kind of visiting card of the Republic, and give their votes for the food they liked, and a special Commission conducted the counting of votes in the piggy Bank of each team.
During the opening ceremony of the festival, the participants were addressed by Deputy Director for science of the Bulgarian historical and architectural Museum-reserve Faskhutdinov Andrey, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company “Region-PR” Shatalov Gennady Vasilyevich and General Director of the Agency “Journey into the past” Ishmukhametova Valentina Maratovna. They congratulated everyone on the may holidays, including the festival “Chuck-tea”, wishing everyone a wonderful spring mood, warmth, peace and prosperity. In addition to sweet treats on this holiday worked a lot of different sites: historical fair, blacksmith and pottery workshops, archery and crossbow, performance of musical and theatrical groups, Playground, which allowed the guests of the festival to plunge into the atmosphere of the middle ages.
According to the results of the popular vote, the winner of the tasting contest “the Best Chuck-Chuck” among the producers was JSC “Kazan Bakery №3”. Second place at “the Bakery №1″ IP Shikhova, third place in the KF, OOO Vkusnoteev””.
The winner of the culinary competition among the audience “Best Chuck-Chuck” was “Spassky College of industry technologies”, Bolgar. The second place was taken by team “Timur and Co”, Naberezhnye Chelny, the third place at team “Black Unicorn”, Nizhnekamsk.
On this day, the Bulgarian Museum-reserve was visited by a large number of tourists not only from Tatarstan, but also from many other regions of Russia.
