April 14, 2019. In the Bulgarians arrived Metropolitan of Kazan and Tatarstan Theophanes

On April 14, 2019, Metropolitan Theophan of Kazan and Tatarstan arrived in Bulgaria, temporarily managing the diocese of Chistopol.
He served the divine Liturgy in the Church in memory of the day of the Martyr’s death of St. Abraham. The service was attended by the clergy of Spassky and other deaneries of the diocese, students of the Seminary of Kazan, numerous parishioners.
During his stay in Bulgaria, the Metropolitan also met with the Head of the Spassky municipal district Shamil Nugaev. They discussed the most important issues related to the further development of the deanery.
The seminarians after the service made a tour of the Bulgarian Museum-reserve, visiting the Museum of Bulgarian civilization, the Museum of the Koran in the Memorial sign, the Museum of the history of the assumption Church and walked through the ancient settlement, acquainted with the architectural monuments of the XIII-XIV centuries.
