Bolgar state Museum-reserve continues to participate in inter-Museum project #Estateresidential. The next stage of the project “people dressed in gems”: hats and jewelry. Today we offer you to get acquainted with a small part of the Museum collection of national hats and jewelry and learn about the symbol of the Tatar people – the Tulip.
Each nation has its own symbol, endowed with great importance, the Tatars – a Tulip. The flower is one of the most popular elements of the Tatar ornament, it is found in traditional embroidery, as well as in the painting of houses and the interior decoration of mosques.
