On February 16, 2019, the II winter sports and historical festival “Kish Batyr”was held on the territory of the Bulgarian Museum-reserve.
Before the start, the opening ceremony of the festival was held, where all the participants were welcomed By the head of the Spassky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan Kamil asgatovich Nugaev, Director of the Bulgarian Museum-reserve Fargat vagizovich Mukhametov and assistant Director General of JSC “national insurance company of Tatarstan” Markelova Natalia. In the first part athletes competed in the category “Modern skiing”. The second was the most spectacular – “Historical skiing”. Here the participants of the race went to the start on wooden hunting skis and in historical costumes corresponding to the medieval era, they passed the same track, with the same boundaries. In all the starts, the fans warmly supported the participants, encouraged them throughout the track. All races were very interesting and exciting. Someone wanted to show a good speed, someone wanted to prove themselves on the” fire ” lines, so the festival was very impressive.
In addition, the festival worked and other sites, where were presented blacksmith and leather workshop, weapons and costume, power competitions, heroic lists, music and entertainment, gastronomic and children’s playgrounds, as well as fair.
After counting all the points, the award ceremony was held. Winners in their age categories were announced. In total, more than 20 teams participated in the festival” Kish Batyr”, as well as individual competitions. All the winners were awarded with diplomas, medals, Souvenirs, and Champions also cash certificates. Young Shoo Batyr festival was Ahmadiev Amir, and absolute Shoo Batyr was recognized Zakharov Alexander. First place in the team competition, in the category “Modern romance” won in the age category of 12-15 years, the team MBOU “SOSH Antonov” Spassky municipal district, in the age group 16-18 years of SEI “Bulgarian cadet boarding school im.
