On January 22, 2019, L. Sabirova, an employee of the Department of Museum-educational activities of the Bulgarian Museum-reserve, together with the complex center of social services “Dawn” of the Spassky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan, held an interactive event “merry Christmas” for children with disabilities of MBOU “Correctional boarding school”.
Twelve days after the feast of the Nativity of Christ are called Christmastide. They continue until Epiphany-19 January. Christmas entertainment is dance, dance, riding a rollercoaster, a rich treat. Day at this time walked, played and had fun, and in the evenings going to gatherings, guessing and went mummers and carols. At the event, the children got acquainted with the history, rituals and traditions of the holiday, actively participated in Yuletide games, dances, quiz. The event was complemented by a tour of the halls Of the Museum of Bulgarian civilization and ended with a traditional holiday feast and gifts.
This event is a continuation of acquaintance with the history of holidays, traditions and customs of the peoples of the Middle Volga region. After all, it is a source of knowledge about how people perceived the world in ancient times. We need not only to know, remember, store, but also to be able to observe and fulfill these traditions and customs.
