November 7, 2018 the staff of the Department of excursions BGIAMZ held for students of BSSH № 1 event “My Russia”, dedicated to the”day of consent and reconciliation.”
The history of the holiday “day of consent and reconciliation” has its roots almost a century ago. Until recently, it had a completely different name, reflecting its essence:”The day of the great October socialist revolution.” It was widely celebrated at the state level and was one of the main “red days of the calendar” in the country.
Since then, times have changed, and the state in which it all began, no longer exists, but this date is still important for several generations of our citizens.
This event was held in the form of an intellectual competition with a presentation on this topic, the guys got acquainted with the history of this holiday, received information about their own country and its state symbols. Also, students were offered a variety of competitions in which they participated with great interest.
