19 November 2018 the staff of the Museum of Bolgar civilization Sharifullina T. G., Kamaeva T. P. and Sal’nikova V. A. in the framework of the project “Historical memory” held informational and educational event “the Goddess of war – the artillery.”, dedicated To the day of missile troops and artillery for students of 9-11 classes of the Bulgarian cadet boarding school named after Karpov Pavel Alekseevich. The date of November 19 is not accidental, since it was on this day in 1942 that the red Army launched a counterattack in the battle of Stalingrad from a powerful artillery fire. Since 1964, this day was called the day of missile troops and artillery. In modern conditions in our country, the day of missile troops and artillery is not considered a holiday, but a memorable day, which is important not to be confused with another memorable date – the day of strategic Missile forces, celebrated in Russia on December 17. The children listened with attention to the story about the importance of missile troops and artillery of Land forces for the defense of our country, the history of the use of missile troops, modern achievements, as many of them want to link their fate with the military profession. With great interest watched several videos on this topic :” day of missile troops and artillery dedicated”, “of all guns. History of Russian artillery ” and “Tornado-s-formidable weapon”. The event ended with a tour of the halls of the Koran Museum in the Memorial Sign And the Museum of Bulgarian civilization.
