On August 2, an off‑site session of the International scientific seminar was held in the conference hall of the “Memorial Sign” museum of the Bolgar Museum‑Reserve. The event is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding archaeologist Fayaz Sharipovich Khuzin.
The main topics are preserving the scientific legacy of Fayaz Khuzin, discussing issues related to the medieval history of Volga Bulgaria and the Volga region, and developing cooperation between relevant institutions.
Archaeologists, historians, museum staff, and students from various regions of Russia and abroad took part in the seminar. The event not only provided an opportunity to exchange experience but also to outline plans for the future and to honor the memory of the scholar who devoted his life to studying the antiquities of the Volga‑Ural region.
