On June 22, an employee of the excursion department of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve V.N. Glavnova held an information and educational event “Roads of War” for 15 students of the school camp of Bolgar secondary school No. 2, dedicated to the Day of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War (Day of Remembrance and Grief).
June 22 is a day filled with pain, hope and heroism. This date is familiar even to a child, because it was on this day that the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 began, which claimed thousands of lives, took away loved ones, and left an eternal mark in our hearts and souls.
During the event, students were told about the heroism and bravery of those great people who fought not for medals, but for their country; about the fact that the time has come for new heroes who are just as selfless and courageous, and who stand in the same ranks under the same banners as the defenders of the Motherland during the Great Patriotic War.
The students watched the presentation “The Holy War”, got acquainted with the exhibition dedicated to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, read the letters of soldiers from the front with interest, watched the exhibition of orders and medals from the Great Patriotic War, and became acquainted with the portraits of heroes who fought in the Special Military Operation. The children actively participated in the quiz, read poems about the war, asked questions, and honored the memory of the fallen with a minute of silence.
