On June 6, 2026, the exhibition “Multifaceted Russia” dedicated to Russia Day was opened at the Bolgar Museum-Reserve.
The opening took place at the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization, which features a space that combines the history, art, and crafts of various ethnic groups in the Volga region. The exhibition aims to highlight the uniqueness and value of the cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia.
A collection of authentic traditional costumes is presented to visitors. Among them are costumes of Russians, Tatars, Chuvash, and Mordovians. There is also an emphasis on ethnographic details: visitors can see not only the dresses and shirts themselves, but also hats, jewelry, shoes and accessories, ornaments and embroidery. Each such costume is a “whole story” that can tell you about the culture of your ancestors.
The exhibition also features household items that reveal the traditions and crafts of each nation.
Guests from Moscow attended the opening of the exhibition.
The exhibition will continue to operate until September 10, 2026, and every guest of the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization can visit it.
