On May 18, a researcher at the “Museum of Bulgarian Civilization” department of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve S. V. Krivosheyeva held an interactive lesson “Journey through the centuries” for the students of the 2nd grade at Bolgar secondary school No. 2, which was devoted to the International Day of Museums. At the event, the children watched an exciting presentation that introduced them to the history of the first museums, their fascinating exhibits, and the world’s renowned museums. The event was aimed at broadening children’s horizons, developing their interest in cultural heritage, and encouraging their cognitive activity.
During the event, students learned about the significance of museums in preserving world history, the role of museum workers, and current trends in museum management. At the end of the event, the children answered questions from the “Museums of the World” themed quiz.
