On May 7, a methodologist from the “Museum Street” department of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve L. Sh. Sagirova held the event “I’m writing a letter to you, soldier!” for students of Bolgar secondary school No. 1.
The children learned that during the war, soldiers wrote letters on notebook pages or scraps of paper, folding them into “triangles” due to a lack of envelopes.
The schoolchildren wrote letters to military personnel participating in the special military operation. This was an opportunity to understand the importance of patriotism and unity in difficult times. Each letter is filled with sincere words of gratitude and support. The children shared their dreams, drew colorful drawings, and wrote warm wishes, hoping that their letters would boost the morale of our country’s defenders. These simple yet meaningful gestures remind us of the significance of supporting each other. We believe that these letters will not only bring joy to the soldiers but also help the children understand the power of their words and actions. Behind each letter lies a genuine desire for peace and prosperity.
25 people participated in the event.
