On April 3, a methodologist of the “Museum Street” department of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve L. Sh. Sagirova held the event “Tender Tatar language” at the local mosque for the children of Bolgar.
During the presentation of the colorful book “Tatar Alphabet”, special attention was paid to the Tatar letters and sounds, and the correct pronunciation of the sounds was discussed, along with examples of words that contain these sounds. Then the children listened with great interest to the legends associated with the ancient city of Bolgar.
At the end of the event, the participants enjoyed playing the game “Words” and learned new words used in Russian speech but derived from Tatar words.
