On March 20, a researcher at the Bolgar Museum-Reserve N.O. Ahundov gave a lecture on “Fundamentals of life safety for schoolchildren” to students from the city of Bugulma.
The purpose of studying life safety is to develop a conscious and responsible attitude towards personal safety and the safety of others. Additionally, the goal is to acquire knowledge and skills to recognize and assess dangerous situations, determine ways to protect oneself, and provide self- and mutual assistance.
That is why it is necessary for students to acquire knowledge about safe human behavior in dangerous and emergency situations of natural, technological, and social nature. It is important to cultivate a value-based attitude towards human life and health; to develop personality traits necessary for safe behavior in emergency situations and during military service; to acquire the skills to assess situations that are dangerous to life and health, to act in emergency situations, to use individual and collective protection measures, and to provide first aid to victims.
During the lecture, the students listened attentively to the material, as life safety is a matter that concerns every individual.
22 students attended the event.
