On March 14, the head of the exhibition complex “Memorial Sign” of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Salimova G.I. conducted a museum lesson “Architecture of Volga Bulgaria” for the students of Bolgar cadet boarding school.
The event took place at the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization. The students got acquainted with the historical stages of the region’s development during the period of Volga Bulgaria and the Golden Horde. The children were particularly interested in the archaeological collection – unique jewelry and tools of ancient craftsmen, as well as a story about their purpose.Then the students took part in a thematic quiz and put together puzzles with images of architectural monuments, consolidating all gained knowledge in a playful way. At the end of the meeting, all participants received memorable gifts – books, magazines.
