On January 14, at Bolgar secondary school No. 2, a researcher of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve G.M. Musina held an interactive event “The story of a New Year’s toy” for 15 children of the extended day group.
Almost every family has a New Year’s tradition of decorating the Christmas tree with toys, but few people know the history of Christmas tree toys, as well as the history of the New Year.
With the help of a vivid presentation, the children became acquainted with the history of the New Year’s toy. The students were happy to share their family traditions of decorating the Christmas tree and talked about unique home collections of toys. The children learned a lot of interesting facts from the history of Christmas tree toys. Glass, ceramic, cardboard, wooden, plastic and other Christmas decorations, many of which are often associated with some interesting story.
A master class on painting souvenirs was also held for the schoolchildren.
The event was fun and interesting. It gave the children a lot of bright emotions, new knowledge and unforgettable impressions.
