On December 17, a researcher of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve O.P. Osintseva held an event “In the world of New Year’s toys” for 12 pupils of Bolgar kindergarten “Kolosok”.
During the event, children learned the history of the tradition of decorating the Christmas tree, which originated in modern Europe. Kids also talked about how the Christmas toys appeared, and what they were like. The children told what they like to decorate their Christmas trees with, and what their favorite Christmas toys are.
At the end of the event, kids completed creative tasks – they painted angels, which can also be used to decorate a Christmas tree.
