On December 9, employees of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve G.K. Hramova and D.P. Hramov held a solemn event “Glory to the Heroes of the Fatherland!” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and the Day of the Heroes of the Fatherland.
On December 9, our country celebrates Heroes of the Fatherland Day. On this day, Heroes of the Soviet Union, Heroes of the Russian Federation, knights of the Order of St. George and the Order of Glory are honored.
The event was attended by active representatives of the “University of the third age” headed by a researcher of the museum-reserve Muhametshin J.G. A memorial candle was lit, songs about the war were sung, and a video sequence with photographs of our compatriots, veterans of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, who went to the front from the Kuibyshev (Spassky) district of the TASSR, was shown on the big screen.
The event ended with a minute of silence, as the audience honored the memory of all the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and participants in the special military operation.
