On December 10, the staff of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve held an interactive event “Bolgar is the guardian of folk traditions” within the framework of the “Pushkin’s card” project for the students of Bolgar secondary school No. 1.
Various craft workshops were presented to the participants of the event: pottery, leather mosaic, wood burning and making amulets with runic symbols.
At the gastronomic master class on making a special tea “in Bolgar style”, the children learned how to make a fragrant collection of herbs, flowers and berries.
For fun, the medieval board games “Alquerque” and “Mill” were presented, as well as the game “Journey into the Past”, with which the children were able to stroll through the streets of the ancient city and get acquainted with its artifacts.
37 people took part in the event.
