From December 2 to 5, 2025, a meeting was held with the participation of representatives of the Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport, Administrations of Inland Waterway Basins and shipping companies (tenants of ships and berths) to coordinate the schedules for locking passenger ships following the scheduled inland waterways for navigation in 2026.
Deputy Director Safina L.N. and head of the department of organization of excursions Prokofieva G.R. attended the meeting that took place in Moscow. They met with representatives of the shipping companies “Vodohod”, PJSC “Moscow River Shipping Company”, “Constellation” and others, discussed the tourist opportunities of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve and excursion programs for 2026.
Based on the results of navigation in 2025, the Bolgar Museum-Reserve hosted more than 160 cruise ships with more than 20,000 tourists from Kazan, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Volgograd, Perm, Rostov-on-Don etc. at the tourist pier.
Musical meetings at the pier, exciting walking and bus tours, craft workshops, gastronomic programs and walks through the territory of the ancient settlement were organized for our guests.
