On November 19, 2025, a researcher of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve G.M. Musina conducted for 16 students of Bolgar secondary school No. 2 a museum lesson “The role of Islamic art in the modern world” dedicated to the celebration of Islamic Art Day.
During the event, the students repeated their knowledge of the culture and morality of Islam, working on the slides of the prepared presentation. The children also learned new information for themselves, which expanded their ideas about the peculiarities of the art of Islam and social values. The participants were very active in answering questions, asking their own, being interested in new material. At the end of the lesson, the students examined the exposition of the Memorial Sign and consolidated the knowledge gained at the event. An interesting conclusion was the acquaintance with the largest printed Quran in the world, listed in the Guinness Book of Records.
This form of lesson allowed the students to consolidate the knowledge they had previously learned in history lessons in an unusual way and better form motivation for conscious moral behavior based on knowledge and respect for the cultural and religious traditions of Islam.
