On November 7, 2025, as part of the project “Bolgar for All” implemented at the expense of the “Tatneft” Charitable Foundation, regular classes were held at the archaeological site, in the creative studio “Territory of possibilities” and in the carpentry workshop of the Bolgar Museum Reserve. The participants were 3rd grade students of Bolgar secondary school No. 1 and 5th grade students of Bolgar boarding school for children with disabilities.
On this day, the schoolchildren continued their studies at the archaeological site. They have consolidated knowledge about the work of archaeologists and the cultural layers of the ancient city of Bolgar. Children conducted their own research in the sandbox and identified the subjects according to their field of application. In the carpentry workshop, the boys became acquainted with working tools and began to master the technique of burning wood. Most of the group in the creative studio worked on looms. In the needlework lesson, the children mastered the technique of weaving a bracelet from threads. In an additional lesson to relieve tension, many children painted with sand on special tables. The students really like these activities where they discover the world of the museum from different angles. Here they learn a lot of interesting things, learn creativity and, most importantly, constructive communication with each other.
