On November 3, 2025, the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization hosted the event “Bolgar is the guardian of the unity of cultural and folk traditions” as part of the All—Russian cultural and Educational campaign “Night of the Arts” dedicated to National Unity Day.
The museum guests were greeted by Hanbike who introduced them to the history of the ancient Bolgar city and its centuries-old traditions. For art and craft lovers, workshops on dowsing, weaving, pottery, art painting, and making patchwork dolls were presented on the interactive platform. The master class on embroidery was presented by Antonova M. M., the winner of the artistic embroidery contest “The victory date is alive in our hearts.” The site has become a place of attraction and a unique experience of diving into the past and creating your own works of art. Medieval board games were presented for entertainment lovers.
As part of the campaign, the opening of the exhibition “Traditions of the Tatar pattern” took place, which emphasizes the connection with the history and culture of the Tatar people, demonstrating the beauty of traditional ornaments and their importance in arts and crafts.
The event was attended by about 200 people from different parts of Russia: Moscow, Omsk, Chelyabinsk, Tolyatti, Kazan and other cities.
