As part of the Decade of the Elderly, on October 1, the head of the department of museum and educational activities of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve G.K. Hramova held an interactive event “Golden autumn” for recipients of social services at the “Spassky boarding house for the elderly and disabled”.
Representatives of the older generation went on an excursion to the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization where they became acquainted with the history of Volga Bulgaria and the ancient city of Bolgar. The guests of the museum were very interested in the authentic archaeological objects from the Bolgar ancient settlement and the precious treasures presented in the exhibition. The participants of the event liked the exhibitions dedicated to the special military operation and the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The event continued on an interactive platform where board games were presented: lotto, kulbutto and cornhall. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, our guests played, competed in agility and skill, and received prizes. At the end, everyone received a small souvenir and sweet treats from the staff of the museum-reserve.
