On October 1, the head of the department “Museum Street” of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Sagirova G.Y. held an event “Golden strings of life” dedicated to the International Day of the Elderly.
The older generation took part in various contests and sports games with interest and pleasure. The guests were very active, and neither age nor illnesses stopped them. They remembered their early years playing folk games. Also during the celebration, the participants visited the museum “Bolgar Tea Party”. At the end of the event, a festive tea drinking was held in accordance with the traditions of Tatar hospitality with pancakes from the oven. The guests of the silver age received a boost of cheerfulness and positive emotions.
