On August 31, a researcher of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve N.O. Ahundov held an event “Labor feat” for 20 tourists from the Kirov region, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of the Stahanov movement.
The Stahanov movement is a mass movement of followers of Alexei Stahanov in the USSR, innovators of socialist production — workers, collective farmers, engineering and technical workers who repeatedly exceeded the established production standards due to the rationalization of tools, technologies and processes, and a variety of employees.
The guests listened with interest to the story about the emergence of the Stahanov movement, about the miner Alexei Stahanov and the miners Petrov and Mashurov, as well as the timber men Shchegolev and Borisenko, about the role of the movement in the industrial revolution of the USSR, and watched a thematic video.
