Tatarstan Republic Day is a national holiday that unites all residents of the region, regardless of their nationality, religion and culture. On August 29, a researcher of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve G.M. Musina held an event “Tatarstan is our common home” for tourists from Kazan. During the event, a museum employee told the guests about the history of the Republic of Tatarstan, its main city, Kazan, the symbols of Tatarstan, the multinational culture and traditions of the peoples living in the republic.
During the tour, the guests took part in a local history quiz, in which they recalled the sights of Tatarstan, national holidays and customs of the peoples living in our republic, the names of famous poets and writers, and supplemented their existing knowledge in the field of local history.
