On July 19, the 154th International Art Exhibition “Palestine in Our Hearts” opened at the Bolgar Museum-Reserve as part of the “Palestine through the Eyes of Russian and Foreign Artists” project.
The exhibition includes works by Russian, Palestinian and Arab artists dedicated to Palestine, its culture and history. The exhibition organizer, head of the Chuvash branch of the IOPS, President of the Society for Friendship and Cooperation of Chuvashia and Palestine, Candidate of Law, Academician of the International Humanitarian Academy “Europe–Asia” Bassam Fathi Al-Balawi, head of the Tatarstan branch of the Imperial Orthodox Palestinian Society K. N. Morozov, and artist M. V. Nelyubin attended the opening ceremony. A. N. Faskhutdinov, Deputy Director for Science, addressed the participants and organizers of the exhibition with a welcoming speech.
In their speeches, the honored guests said that the purpose of this art exhibition is to send a message of peace, freedom and harmony in the ancient Holy Land, a call for friendship and justice. They emphasized the importance of maintaining the centuries-old friendship between the peoples of Russia and Palestine, and stressed that the idea of organizing an art exhibition “Palestine in our Hearts” was supported by talented artists from many cities and regions of our country and abroad.
40 people attended the opening of the exhibition.
