On July 18, the Bolgar Museum-Reserve hosted the opening of the exhibition “Special military operation and the heroes of the Spassky District: bravery and courage”.
Currently, the protection of national interests of the Russian Federation is becoming particularly important. Russia is forced to respond to foreign policy challenges. One of the most important factors ensuring the unity and consolidation of Russian society within the country is the preservation of the continuity of spiritual and moral values and the protection of historical truth. The purpose of creating expositions on the history of the SMO is to provide reliable information about the causes and prerequisites of the operation, about its main stages, and perpetuate the memory of the exploits of its participants.
The exposition was based on items assembled by our soldiers and volunteers in the SMO zone – these are samples of weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and NATO, equipment, symbols, and modern electronic equipment.
A separate part of the exhibition is represented by samples of weapons and equipment of soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Modern Russian electronic warfare equipment also became exhibits.
The guests of honor at the opening of the exhibition were the participants of the SMO – Simanov S. V. and Pyrov M. A. Letters of thanks from the management of the museum-reserve were awarded to volunteers who transferred most of the items from the operation area to our museum. These items became the basis for the creation of the exhibition.
The guests of the event were addressed by the director of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve R. R. Ziganshin and the social coordinator of the “Defenders of the Fatherland” State Foundation for the Republic of Tatarstan in Spassky district A.V. Kostin who handed over a valuable item for the exhibition – the Flag of the Republic of Tatarstan with the signatures of the soldiers of the 155 Marine Brigade.
