On July 8, a researcher of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve Osintseva O.P. for six pupils of Bolgar kindergarten “Kolosok” together with the tutor Haidarova G.B. held the event “Family Holiday” dedicated to the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity.
The event was conducted with the aim of fostering respect for the family, the concepts of goodness, truth, compassion, love, deep and sincere respect for Russian traditions, and the formation of concepts of the value of friendly family relations.
During the event, the children learned the history of the holiday, its main symbols, and talked about traditions and customs.
The main symbol of this holiday is a chamomile. It is the most famous and beloved flower in Russia, the flower of Russian fields and meadows. A very dear, kind, homely flower that symbolizes tenderness, beauty, purity, warmth, comfort and kindness. There are a lot of petals in the daisy, as if a large, friendly family gathered at a round table.
At the end of the event, the children painted daisies and, together with the teacher, created a beautiful festive poster with family photos.
