On June 6, a research associate of the Bolgar Museum-Reserve I.D. Muhametshin held an educational event “The Eternal Word of Pushkin” for the children attending the school camp at Bolgar secondary school No. 1. The event was timed to coincide with Russian Language Day.
The children visited the Museum Street where they learned about the work of A.S. Pushkin and his era. The museum “The Nobility of Spassky Uyezd” is dedicated to the life of the noble families of the Kazan province. Many outstanding people came from this milieu. A.S. Pushkin was proud of his descent from A.P. Hannibal, a companion of Peter I. In his poems, the poet described the atmosphere of the golden age of the nobility.
The “Town on the River” museum is inextricably linked to the Volga River and its legends. The “Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish” immediately comes to mind. The children were interested in the nets and fishing equipment.
At the Museum of A. Alish, schoolchildren come into contact with fairy tales. Undoubtedly, his acquaintance with the works of A.S. Pushkin inspired A. Alish to create fairy tales for children. During the lesson, kids learned many interesting facts about the poet’s life and the history of our region.
The museum “Bolgar Tea Party” introduces visitors to the traditions of national hospitality. The children were very interested in the museum’s collection of samovars. The event ended with a traditional tea party.
Twenty-four people attended the event.
